Democritus: According to an Airport information: "Credit cannot be given to the tale that Democritus spent his leisure hours in chemical researches after the philosopher's stone -- the dream of a later age; or to the story of his conversation with Hippocrates concerning Democritus's supposed madness, as based on spurious letters…"
Green Democrit (with/out US)
According Wikipedia:
"The philosopher's stone, a longtime "Holy Grail" of Western alchemy, is a mythical substance that supposedly could turn inexpensive metals into gold and/or create an elixir that would make humans immortal."
So, the team of Forum Democrit NGO obviously already possesses the famous “Stone of the Wise” or “The Powder of Projection”, since several years the blue, oh so blue Democrit, is still alive without any
payments,
project management salaries/commissions,
funds,
grants,
charity donations etc.
However, you can afford working hard and for free when possessing The Stone. The only need is to be supplied with metal, as heavy as possible…That is why The Philosophers spread the Powder of Projection among the possible suppliers, i.e. the “target group” is as usual the minorities…But this time the VIPs in focus are the brains hidden in labs and libraries.
Believe it or not, the new Stone Temple Pilots are like the atoms, i.e. they are genuinely indivisible which is not the case in physics and the music, as you know…
So, give US the atoms of hopeful Sense, and the virtual medium of damned opinions is up to Democritus…
Concerning the “elixir for human immortality” if you have health assurance, forget about the Hippocrates and be free to contact:
Dr. Ivo Dimitrov: volunteer with PhD in RTCTD /Remote Treatment of Chronic Transcendental Diseases/
Dr. Ivan Bozukov: volunteer with PhD in RTGSU /Remote Treatment of Global Social Utopias/
For emergency cases at least another two highly qualified experts are on stand by. As obviously is your case as you are already here…;)
Concerning the blue Democrit and green Democritus the team was highly inspired from Pink Floyd’s lyrics like this one:
Heavy hung the canopy of blue
Shade my eyes and I can see you
White is the light that shines through the dress that you wore
She lay in the shadow of the wave
Hazy were the visions of her playing
Sunlight on her eyes but moonshine beat her blind every time
Green is the color of her kind
Quickness of the eye deceives the mind
Many is the bond between the hopeful and the damned.

Forum Democrit was officially founded in year 2002 as non-governmental organization which aims to enhance the public understanding of science, to improve the image of Bulgarian scientists and to promote interest in science among young people in the country and the Balkans. However, the science communication activities of Forum Democrit’ members (Georgy Atanassov, Boris Grozdanoff and Ivaylo Dimitrov) started two years before in a local cable TV Channel where they produced over 80 issues of a Popular Science TV Show called “Boundary Knowledge”. Meanwhile, the team has organized media communication campaigns for Bulgarian science institutions and individual researchers.
SciComms Group at present is an interdisciplinary workgroup which is an integral part of Forum Democrit NGO. It is particularly focused on increasing and improving science and society dialogue as well as on re-converging science and culture through all relevant means of science communication practices.
The Group was spontaneously initiated in 2004 after finishing a science communication training session organized by British Council – Bulgaria and conducted by the leading science journalist and broadcaster Toby Murcott. Thus, the Group begun as an informal monthly meeting between around 15 young researchers and journalists who believe that bridging the gap between their professional fields will alter the implausible image of scientists and will challenge the public preconceptions about the scientific progress, products and career.
In the next two years the number of its members increased to over 40 people including journalists in leading newspapers and the National Radio but mostly researchers who represent almost all scientific disciplines and are employed in variety of local scientific organizations: Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, Technical University of Sofia, Agro Bio Institute, Union of Scientists in Bulgaria, science museums as well as the Ministry of Education and Science and science-related SMEs.
Since 2005 the SciComms Group actively assisted British Council – Bulgaria in organizing and conducting the first Café Scientifique events in Bulgaria which took place in Sofia and the country.
More information can be found on its website: cafescientifique.democrit.com
The Group is also involved in British Council's “Beautiful Science” project implemented in 9 SEE countries and aimed to encourage young scientists to communicate with the wider public in an open, comprehensive and interactive way as well as to inspire young people to consider a career in science. Part of the project is the National FameLab competition for science communicators (age 20-35) based on the UK 's national competition to find the best new talent in science communication in the country.
Forum Democrit is a member of EUSCEA and participated in the “Carousel of Science” of WONDERS 2007.
Currently Forum Democrit is a partner in YOSCIWEB project supported by the 7th EU Framework Program for Research and Development (Science in Society).
